A Universe Where Bowie Never Existed

Be thankful you live in the universe you do.  This could have been the vaguely satirical,  1960s space-themed song that defined a generation’s unsettling feelings about the space race and future generation’s feelings about alienation and the apparent indifference of an uncaring universe.

Thank you David Bowie, for not writing “Please Mr. Kennedy.”  And for everything else.
